Carl and Helene, a couple from Stockholm, try to save their marriage by swapping vacation homes with Adam and Scarlett, a couple living in Sicily. When Carl and Helene arrive, they quickly realize the house is not quite what they expected from the photos, making them question who the other couple really are. Meanwhile, Adam and Scarlett move into Carl and Helene’s modern home in the Stockholm archipelago, where nosy neighbors and a locked room begin to raise suspicions. As both couples try to reconnect, hidden secrets, lies, and betrayals start coming to the surface.
