Kelly lives with heroin addiction in the South Bronx, where she also works at a harm reduction clinic - handing out clean needles, administering Narcan, cleaning blood spots from the floors. Shot over five years by a single filmmaker embedded within her world, Be Still, My Soul observes her daily life through a restrained, immersive form: no narration, no explanation, a score that moves alongside her inner world.
