About

Lionel, the only municipal police officer in a small village, is a simple, gentle man, a bit of an outsider. Mocked by his family and ignored by women, he dreams of being loved for who he is. When Angèle, his childhood sweetheart who has become a star journalist, returns to the village for a tribute evening, Lionel believes in a rebirth. For one night, they make love. But the very next day, she leaves. To keep her there, Lionel kidnaps Mystik, Angèle's star cat; but as he grows attached to the animal, he will have to choose between feeding his lie or finally learning to love himself...
